African elephant isolated cutout
26 October 2026

Source: the existing OpenAI-generated life-cutouts.png natural-history illustration in Scale Explorer. Isolated with OpenAI image editing, preserving its right-facing stance, curled trunk, tusks and wrinkled skin. Other animals and the background were removed. No photographic source or measured individual is claimed.

The original posed silhouette is retained. Anatomical and projected dimensions differ because the trunk curls downwards and the tail is not extended horizontally. The displayed comparison dimension must state its convention explicitly. The pixels do not establish an independently measured animal length.

Asset pixels:1536×1024. Visible alpha bounds approximately x80..1507,y34..1009. Foot baseline approximately y1008. Suggested framing crop x76,y30,width1436,height984. Approximate projected rump-to-front-skull span x150..1300; tusks and tail extend beyond this span.
